Rare Opportunity!

 Contiguous Certified Organic Land Sale

Welcome to LeBlanc Farms, nestled in a picturesque location, located northwest of Crook, Colorado.

LeBlanc Farms is a family-owned hay farm established by Scott LeBlanc in 1978.  LeBlanc Farms has grown from a small  operation to a thriving family business, thanks to the dedication of Scott and Lynne LeBlanc. With a focus on sustainable farming practices and premium crop quality, they have been committed to providing the best hay products while preserving the natural ecosystem of the land. They have taken pride in cultivating organic alfalfa, oats, and grass of the highest quality each year. Due to the passing of Scott in 2021, Lynne is selling the farm and plans to retire.

"This operation is completely involved in conserving use acres. Production acres are devoted to perennial crops like alfalfa and orchard grass, which prevent wind and water erosion, and are economically sustainable. Surrounding acres are maintained in untreated native grassland species that compliment organic production by eliminating bordering contamination issues, enhance wildlife, contribute to grazing enterprise, and eliminate erosion concerns. The acres outside of productive haying areas are maintained in untreated native species grasslands. Because of the organic practices implemented since 2002 and prior on LeBlanc Farms, a great number of bees, birds and insects, as well as many locally adapted species of wildlife can be found on this 100% organic farm. It has become a well balanced and friendly ecosystem that enhances the continuance of complimentary species of all kinds. It's quite common to see many beneficial bugs such as lady bugs when scouting and harvesting hay on the farm. Also, near water areas and blooming plants, you will see honey bees, certain types of flies, and other types of pollinators in great numbers. On a calm summer day you can hear the bees buzzing and the birds chirping!"     -Scott LeBlanc
